About this program
The Capital Investment Subsidy Scheme, introduced by the Tourism Department of the Government of Madhya Pradesh, supports niche tourism ventures across the state. It offers a 15% subsidy on approved fixed capital investment, with the maximum benefit set at ₹5 crore. Both new and existing legal entities can apply, provided they meet a minimum capital expenditure of ₹1 crore.
Eligible projects include film studios, film-making facilities, museums, aquariums, and theme parks. The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board implements the scheme, which aims to ease the initial financial load on developers and strengthen the state's position as a varied tourist destination.
