Its purpose is to strengthen the state's position as a varied travel destination by supporting ventures such as adventure tourism, water sports, amusement parks, and distinctive lodging options including cruise/houseboats and camping sites.

Through this capital subsidy, the government aims to ease the upfront cost burden on investors, which in turn supports employment generation, strengthens local economies, and draws visitors from both within India and abroad. The scheme applies to projects that involve establishing permanent facilities and procuring necessary equipment, aligning with the broader objectives of the Tourism Policy 2025 to ensure steady and sustainable growth in the sector.

1. Portal Registration: Access the Invest Portal of the Madhya Pradesh Government and register under the category "Vendor / Investor". Provide essential details such as the organisation type (for instance, Public Limited Company, Private Limited, or Individual), the firm or company name, and the name of the authorised representative. A valid email address and mobile number must be furnished for correspondence.
2. Profile Completion and Permission Acquisition: Following initial sign-up and receipt of user credentials, log in to the portal and fully complete your profile. In parallel, obtain every mandatory permission needed for the project via the online single-window mechanism. Confirm that all construction is finished, the minimum capital expenditure threshold is satisfied, and commercial operations have begun.
3. Submission of Subsidy Application: After the project becomes operational, file the capital subsidy application online through the same Invest Portal. The submission must occur within twelve months of the operational commencement date. Attach all required supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with the prescribed format specifications.
4. Verification and Processing: The Tourism Department, along with the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, will subsequently review the application and its accompanying documents. Once verification is successful, the processing of the subsidy claim will proceed.

The Tourism Department and the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board examine each application through a detailed verification procedure. All submitted paperwork is checked against the eligibility requirements and the stipulated minimum capital expenditure. Site inspections may take place to confirm that the tourism project is established and functioning as claimed.

Before a subsidy claim is approved and processed, the project must also demonstrate compliance with the operative period of the Tourism Policy 2025. Only after these checks are satisfied does the application move forward for final clearance.
