About this program
The Capital Investment Subsidy Scheme, introduced by the Tourism Department of the Government of Madhya Pradesh, offers financial incentives to encourage private investment in tourism-related infrastructure. Its purpose is to strengthen the state's position as a varied travel destination by supporting ventures such as adventure tourism, water sports, amusement parks, and distinctive lodging options including cruise/houseboats and camping sites.
Through this capital subsidy, the government aims to ease the upfront cost burden on investors, which in turn supports employment generation, strengthens local economies, and draws visitors from both within India and abroad. The scheme applies to projects that involve establishing permanent facilities and procuring necessary equipment, aligning with the broader objectives of the Tourism Policy 2025 to ensure steady and sustainable growth in the sector.
