The "Subsidy for Patent Registration" operates as a sub-scheme within the "Incentive Scheme for MSMEs in Powerloom Sector," administered by the Department of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises and Textiles, Government of West Bengal. • Step 1: Begin Commercial Production Your enterprise must have commercial production underway between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2024.
• Step 2: Secure Patent Registration Complete the expenditure required for obtaining Patent Registration for your approved project.
• Step 3: Assemble the Application Obtain and fill out the prescribed Form-A2. Gather all supporting documents, including the detailed feasibility report and project approval from a financial institution.
• Step 4: Submit the Application (Offline) Send the completed form and all attachments to the Directorate of Textiles. The submission must occur within 12 months of the date commercial production began.
