About this program

The the^delta Incubator 2026 Cohort supports early-stage nonprofit social entrepreneurs across India. Run by the^delta, an organisation focused on building resilient livelihoods, the incubator draws on its experience of nurturing 126 nonprofits and channelling over ₹45 Crore in catalytic capital. The programme seeks to strengthen organisations working with marginalised and underserved communities, addressing systemic drivers of poverty and inequality.

The intensive 9-month incubator phase provides an Innovation Grant of up to ₹30,00,000. This funding helps organisations solidify their theory of change, develop and refine a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) through real-world feedback, and cover pilot experimentation costs to validate solutions. Funds may also support hiring and team development, along with product and programme advancements that enhance immediate impact and long-term scalability.

Nonprofits showing strong progress during the incubator phase can advance to a subsequent 12-month accelerator programme. This stage can unlock an additional ₹75,00,000, bringing total potential support over a cumulative 21-month journey to ₹1,05,00,000. Beyond financial assistance, the programme offers non-financial support including personalised organisational mentoring, strategic guidance, capital readiness preparation, sector-specific networking, and immersive bootcamps to build critical skills.

How to apply

Applicants begin by completing an online application form. This initial submission covers their interpretation of the problem, the solution they propose, and the skills and structure of their team. It is used to judge how well the proposal fits the incubator’s objectives.

Candidates who pass this first stage are asked to provide a fuller business plan. This document must be submitted within 10 days and should set out the operational approach, financial forecasts, expected impact measures, and a plan for scaling up.

The next phase consists of three separate interview rounds. These are conducted by members of the the^delta team, along with its partners and subject-matter experts. Each round explores the organisation’s vision, how the team works together, operational hurdles, and the likelihood of lasting impact. Final decisions on the 2026 cohort are made after these evaluations, with selection based strictly on merit.
