About this program
The Goa State Logistics and Warehousing Incentives Scheme, introduced by the Department of Industries, Government of Goa, is administered by the Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce (DITC). Its purpose is to extend financial support for the growth of the logistics and warehousing sector within the state.
This particular component offers a subsidy through the reimbursement of Stamp Duty and Registration Charges. It applies to developers setting up new logistics and warehousing projects, as well as those pursuing expansion or diversification. The scheme covers 100% of these charges, up to ₹10,00,000 for Stamp Duty and ₹10,00,000 for Registration Charges, available once per component. This reduces the upfront cost of acquiring or leasing land, buildings, or sheds, thereby encouraging investment and strengthening logistics infrastructure across Goa.

How applications are assessed
The Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce (DITC) first screens each application and may seek clarifications from the applicant where the form or supporting documents appear deficient. Once this check is cleared, DITC assigns an officer to visit the entity and examine all records against the verification-cum-recommendation checklist (Annexure X). The resulting inspection report is posted on the portal within 48 hours and shared with the entrepreneur. The inspection covers the land or building address, project category, construction completion date, and the date commercial operations began.
Following the inspection, the file moves to the Chief Executive Officer of the Goa Investment Promotion and Facilitation Board (Goa-IPB) for due diligence. Based on Goa-IPB's input, DITC drafts an appraisal note for the Incentive Review Committee (IRC), which scrutinises and approves claims. After the IRC's decision, DITC issues the final approval note so the Accounts Department can release payments. Sanctioned claims are processed in order of receipt and paid within 90 days of the application date at the latest.
